A professor and a doctor enter a vineyard.
This is no joke.
Katherine teaches entrepreneurship at the university. Carole is a doctor. Together, they founded the Gundolf winery in Enzersfeld in the Weinviertel region in 2022 – without inherited land, without family tradition, and with the shared conviction that good wine, just like good science, begins with asking the right questions.

We have been growing wine sustainably since 2022. We are proud of our Weinviertel terroir and approach the peculiarities of each vintage with humility.
We take what nature gives us and try with creativity to make the best of it .
